All WP8.1 features even for 512MB phones ?

Hi !

Now as we get more news about features of WP8.1 daily and Microsoft telling us "all WP8 devices will get WP8.1" i started thinking about that...
Maybe 512MB devices will not get some features, remember we dont get all apps anyway (even some nokia apps require 1gb) !
So i think its very likely that not all of those great features that got leaked will be available for low-end phones with only 512MB RAM.

Anyone knowing more about that ?
And what do you think will happen with 512MB phones ?

Yes. ALL phones that are currently running Windows Phone 8. ALL.

Features are OS related. The core is set for all these devices with Windows Phone 8. Apps just need RAM. None of these features are RAM intensive.

Im not talking about the update itselfe, just some features. Although you could be correct, a special version of the OS just for 512MB devices sounds odd.

Its going to be the same version with same features. So far there has been not a single feature in the leaks that is RAM dependent.

Wp's greatest market share is in this low end devices, so probably these low end devices will recieve the full package

I hope my small fears of an Apple-style upgrade for older devices is proven to be misplaced.
(meaning the omission of new features in older devices for whatever reason.)

You cant expect hardware limiter features though
