So this is a two-fee...i fell like a noob for asking but...i have an aluminum bumper case and a full wrap around aluminum case. Where are the antennas on the HTC One M8, cause I think the full wrap is affecting my signal. I seem to be getting lower wifi signals and most of the time I'm running at 3g speeds most of the time. Does an aluminum case affect signal strength? Thanks.

A metal case on anything that uses a wireless signal is never a good idea. What you're basically creating is something called a Faraday Cage, though not a fully effective one.

The bodies of metal phones are specifically designed for their purpose. To wrap more metal around is probably not a good idea.

I had that thought about the poor mans Faraday cage, but the issue is I can't seem to find a case that has the same protection with slim form factor. Ideas or thoughts?

To that I would add, that aluminium is actually one of the better electromagnetically shielding materials, which in this case (pun intended) makes it even worse.
