Am I sizing this wrong?

Hi folks,

So I saw the price drop notice and thought "now is the time to get one". So I looked at the sizing guide and figured I would see where I fit. I am a bigger guy, but my wrists are small (I thought). I got out my own measuring tape and it read at 9". WOW, this can't be right. The Band2 large wouldnt even fit me. So I printed out the official thing today and yup.. My wrist is bigger than the large. Does this seem right? Am I doing something wrong?

I'm kind of a smaller guy and my wrist measures 7.5. Bigger than I thought too.

Any chance you have a store near by that you could go to and try one on? Just make sure you didn't scale the image when you printed and it should be close to accurate.
