I'm fortunate enough to have be able to attend MWC this year and will have access to Microsoft people during the couple of days I'll be there.

This will be an opportunity to ask some questions and hopefully get some useful feedback.

Bear in mind that not all questions will have an answer and I'll probably be talking with more marketing/strategy guys than deeply technical.

I am most interested in finding out about new flagship devices, since I'm due for an upgrade and still waiting, since there is nothing available for my carrier (AT&T).

Nice to see we have a mole at mwc to ask the peoples questions!

See if you can get any dirt on a Sony or other big manufacturer coming to wp.

Personally, I'd like to know what kind of mobile payment solution they've got planned.

How do you plan on marketing Windows 10 Mobile differently than Windows Phone 8?

Thanks Pete for posting on this. I, also, am excited about an impending flagship device. (although my spider-senses indicate it may not be out until after Win10) I have dozens of questions, but IRT marketing & strateegery...
Background
1520 launched as an exclusive on AT&T until the rest of the word received a device(1520.3) with larger storage and wireless charging included (AT&T requested it be actually removed) This may be because of the PMA standard AT&T is behind vs the Qi wireless charging Nokia adopted.

The Question
1.) Is the Redmond Company going to continue to limit its Amazing flagship devices to "carrier exclusives" as that business model is dying?
2.) Will MS build out its wireless charging feature to accept multiple wireless charging platforms?
3.) May I please have one?

I am excited for the future of Microsoft's Mobile division!

Ok,, so hard a great Q&A session this afternoon with Tuula Rytila. The session was only 30 mins with about 25 other people, so didn't manage to get all my questions in unfortunately.

As we know, flagship devices are coming soon, but there's no word on features yet. The philosophy is that flaps must be steps above the low and middle tier phones and must be separated by innovation and should be strong enough to last longer than their smaller brothers. I have to agree, this is something the 1520 has settled for in my case.

Microsoft is talking with more operators in an effort to widen the range of phones per operator and so give more choice to customers.

Win Pho 10 is being pushed asking with Windows 10 as part of the one vision.

No word on when the band will come yet or the future plans for payment options. The thirty minutes ran out really quickly.

Trying to find more information this afternoon and tomorrow.

Microsoft also working toward a less confusing numbering system for phones. People will know at a glance where a phone suits in the range.
