That statement makes no sense, why have screen rotation then???
We have glance, so why cant we disable the lock screen??? Glance is a Nokia specific app. I'm sure they just put their resources elsewhere.
Why doesnt the home screen rotate, it would be perfect if it did, stupid idea to rotate apps but then get pushed back to a non rotating homescreen, android tablets rotate the screen automatically if you rotate your tablet, so seems like again MS developers stupidity to me...??? I had an Android tablet. Rotating the stock launcher squeezed everything vertically and kinda felt weird. Besides, OP's idea would break rectangle tiles and not-OP's idea would put the Start screen in a weird order.
Why have notifications if the phone doesnt tell you missed a call, whats the point of a notification centre if you have to double tap to wake the phone, get through glance, then the lock screen, then the notification centre all on a non rotating OS, who thought that up???
Everything else requires you to wake up the phone to view the notification center.
What. You don't have to get through glance, its just there.
And what does rotation have to do with the NC?
Man MS needs to step up and get stuff sorted, also, why no notification light still, design flaws a lot going on here..????
