Installing android apps is useful, well to me at least. I already run numerous PWAs as apps.
And, apparently you can side load android apps, not JUST install them from the amazon app store.
But there's a problem - apps on googles play store are strongly encouraged to run checks as to whether google play services are installed - and will fail to run if they are not.
Back in the blackberry days a user called 'Cobalt' made at first an app that stripped out such dependency checks from apks, and later on a fully cracked versus of the whole play services suite.
I don't think Microsoft will ever be approved as a google approved platform. So I think some enterprising developer will have to design these workarounds for Windows 11.
