Sorry to be repeating, but I honestly can't see how this can upset you this much. I buy around 1-3 smartphones a year, granted I have bought one case in my life for a phone. So maybe that's why i can't see the problem. Happened to be iPhone 4S btw. If this is such a huge problem for you, simply get iPhone. I'm sure you will have as many cases as you ever want.

As long as you follow this industry close enough, you can figure out the major upgrade waves. So far always happens with the new SoC upgrades on flagships. Why I did not get Lumia 1020 at the time and bought 1520 with plenty of rumors about the device before Lumia 1020 launch to the market. Also to normal Q4 launch windows that has been done since the first Lumia, Lumia 800.

You mean like the fact that recently my 4 year old grandson died of cancer? I wouldn't even hope to think that any gadget could 'distract me' from that horrific event.
