Anniversary Update in Recovery Tool

I'm using a Nokia Lumia 950 in the UK, Unlocked, and running the Insider Release Branches of Anniversary Update

However in the Device Recovery Tool I don't have the option to recover to Anniversary Update.
I really need to factory reset my phone as it's running like a dog and never had a full reset as in without restoring from backup since I got the phone ages ago.


Do we know when the latest image will be available on the recovery tool?
If I recover to the older version can I do the upgrade to the Anniversary Update WITHOUT being in the Insider Program?

Is the update rolling out in the UK?

You can simply reset your phone without pulling a backup from OneDrive. That is one option, the other is what you described - using WDRT. In this case you will be able to update to the latest build officially released, so you would come back to Redstone 1 after those updates.

Also, I would suggest not to try to setup any apps until everything is up to date. Just let everything update first, that is all apps and the OS, and then setup everything as you like.
