Annoying sound

Hello all, when I lock my phone simply with power button, I hear a weak sound like 'tick' which I think comes from speaker but I'm not sure. It would be good to know have you ever experienced something like that.

Go to settings > ringtones & sounds, scroll to bottom, uncheck the box for "Lock and unlock". This option plays a type of ticking noise both for locking and for unlocking the device.

The default sound is the only reason I can think you'd hear anything. Does the click still happen if you turn the volume to zero?
