We have ATIV S T899M (Canadian versions, one from Bell one from Rogers) and they got an update today. They were on the dev preview and the update only included Samsung updates. It FINALLY enabled Data Sense. The last update from Samsung enabled it but it would only be added to your app list on initial startup so it would require a hard reset to be put in. We didn't want to hard reset them so we didn't get Data Sense until this update which adds it into your app list if it isn't there yet due to a hard reset.
And the other BIG thing is it FINALLY FIXED BLUETOOTH. The T899M (at least both the ones we had) had broken bluetooth. It sounded like crap and would disconnect from the headset within a minute most of the time. That was with any bluetooth device, we tried 4 in total. That's stopped. About time, Samsung!
I have a unlocked unbranded Samsung Ativ S (GT-i8750)

I have Ativ S i8750 and I am from Croatia with Tele2 mobile operator, and I checking updates 2 times on one day and I don't see updates last month. When I'll see?
The only difference I can see: There is now a close "X" in the task manager for open apps.![]()
I also have one update available, but i think is Samsung stuff. I will not update it, if I do it I will lose the interop unlock .
I have GDR3, (8.0.10521.155 ; Firmware 2424.13.5.1) installed through developer account.
Yes, I heard that there some problems with GDR3. In fact I did it once but under GDR2, but everything went well.Fair enough, just don't do a factory reset though.
Well, yeah but it wasn't available on my Ativ S before (even not after a full reset). That and DRIVING MODE are the only differences I see after the update. That's part of GDR3 not the Samsung Firmware.
