It's not needed. The only executable code that you can get on WP8 is heavily vetted by Microsoft before it even gets to your device.

Microsoft's SDK makes it almost impossible to create an app that can perform malicious behaviour.

but can viruse get into your phone throw say computer, like when you connect your phone to computer?

No, they can't. You may be able to somehow be able to copy a file containing a virus to the phone, but it won't be able to run.

android does contain lots of viruses, where as windows phone and ios are most secured os(cant say about bb), even ios does have viruses if you install something from cydia(jailbreak).my first reason to buy windows phone was that its the most secure platform out of all. and I made a wise decision buying one.
