Any help, tips for new Verizon M8 owner

Hello all, my Verizon ICON died, hit the ground then fell into salt water. It's gone, new Verizon M8 coming this week. Any thing I should look for, or prepare for with this phone vs the ICON? Any input would be greatly appreciated, Thank you
