Lumia 1020,925,920 and 820 received the black update few weeks ago. Others will get it soon.

Black update for 520 will be available by the end of this month or at the start of February, Usually Lumia 520 will be the last model in the windows phone lineup to get the update .. Like what happened when Amber was released.

Could you tell us the size of the update? I am planning to update it in my Mom's cell. And could you tell us the performance of the mobile now.

the update is about 200 mb in size and takes more than 800mb during installation..
the task manager for closing apps is nice and there is slight perfomance improvement for my handset..

you can see screen rotation, driving mode under the settings after the update.. also the phone storage now shows details much like the storage check..

Yes , Now it is available . it require around 840 Mb free space to get black ..

Guys,

I was able to update my Lumia 520 to Black Firmware and i got Double tap to wake screen option enabled and it is working 100% successfully.
