Windows 10 Technical Preview

As the date(not specified yet) of first win 10 technical preview for phones is getting closer,my predictions say this:
Snapdragon200 and higher+dual core/quad core+512 mb ram models will make the cut.

Snapdragon S4 and higher dual core/quad core +1/2...gb ram models will absolutely make the cut

BUT

Snapdragon S4+512 mb ram models=still a doubt for first preview(or the full version)

What do you think Guys?

Feel free to share your intelligence. :)

Re: Windows 10 Technical Preview

Do you realize S4 dual core of all previous lumias are essentially same when it comes to the internals? The ones in 920 are just higher clocked than 520 but otherwise is identical(apart from older GPU).
So my point is that there's no way S4 can be a limiting factor unless it is the case of all phones irrespective for RAM.
And if RAM was the case then all phones with 512mb RAM will be affected irrespective of processor but since i.e not the case we will see W10 for all phones.

You could not be more wrong about the S4 here.. The 920 and 520 certainly do not have the same CPU..

Nope, if u think I am wrong then u have no idea about their architecture.
S4 MSM 8227 and MSM 8960 are built on the same krait cores. But the ones in 8960 are clocked higher and has support for faster memory and LTE. The GPU on the latter is older but slightly more powerful but could lack support for modern api.
If u don't believe me check for urself.

I'll just wait for more information before flinging even more speculation around.

Re: Windows 10 Technical Preview

I feel blessed because I own a L1520. I don't have to worry about anything. It's guaranteed to be one of the first devices to get the TP.
Which, I, by the way, probably will not install right off the bat.
