Any way of pinning the Metro Internet Explorer to the Taskbar?

I have a Surface Pro 3, and I would really like to use Internet Explorer as my default browser. I've been using Google Chrome to sync up with my Sony Z3, but I tried the Metro Internet Explorer and fell in love with it. My problem is anytime i try to pin it to the taskbar, it pins the desktop version. Is there anyway to pin the actual fullscreen version to the taskbar? Thanks.

In the taskbar you're forced to pin the desktop version. You can only pin the metro version to the Start screen on Windows 8.
