Any way to enable LTE on 810?

T-Mobile is currently selling about 100 to 1, Android to WP devices... Right now there are more iPhones working on T-Mobile than Windows Phones. I suspect that the hope is that Windows Phone users will cash in their 810's for a 9xx series phone when LTE goes nationwide. Until then, their HSPA+42 network is compatible with the 810 and users should be getting pretty decent speeds. I personally get between 8-12Mbps down with bursts up to 15Mbps (I had a killer 33Mbps download test once, but never had it duplicated) and I am more than happy with those speeds.

I have a saying that a person should never buy a device on what it might do, but instead buy it for what id does do. If we all get in the habit of expecting an update to LTE, we will be dissappointed when it doesn't come. If we are just happy with the HSPA+ speeds and LTE happens to come along, bonus!

- Now, does anyone remember how to get to the service/diagnostic menu on this thing? My ##3282# isn't working for me anymore...

Where is it that people get these incredible speeds from? I get 3-5 down, 1-2 up in Phoenix. I've never seen 10 down, ever.

Ok, I'm a liar. I checked my history and I got 10 once at the Scottsdale mall.

Probably helps that I am located about 20 miles from T-Mo headquarters in Bellevue, Wa... But seriously, I have no need for LTE - but it would be nice to have it if/when it goes live in my area.

Hey have anyone noticed that when you would go to the field test and then see the little 3 dots and then go to settings you would see network type and under there there would be 2g, 3G, and 4G, now If I go to see I only get to see 2g and 3G

I don't want to get technical I mean I do to but I mean as in if you remember before you would get the option to either pick 2g ,3g,46 and blah blah blah I just wanted to point that out :)

I never tried it 'til today so I wouldn't know and frankly I'm not even sure what that indicates

The only way you are getting LTE on the 810 is if T-mobile changes their mind or someone gets access to the Nokia update that enables LTE...as they had to make it for T-mobile when they requested it.

unfortunately the only way for us to get LTE support is if Chinese team darkforcesteam or people from xda community can crack the bootloader for the os, and then we will be able to enable it our self through new roms. But as it stands the nokia boot loaders is given dev problems, let alone the implementation of secure boot and seeing how windows phone 8 uses windows 8 kernel takes it to a whole new level. So far there is claims for a Huawei (cannot spell it) windows phone 8 device has been cracked but information hasn't trickled down to the devs on the English side.
