any way to export sms messages?

Hello, I wonder if there is a way to migrate my sms to a different phone (non WP) or at least export them to a readable format. MS SMS backup seems to be invisible and inaccessible unless I want to restore it on a new WP phone. Thanks

aha so I confirm there is a way to view backed up messages, so I guess that would be enough for me.

The only confusing thing could be that there may not be a page count in the bottom, so it looks like only a few recent messages are there, BUT if you click the arrow button to go to next page, suddendly there is more pages.
