Yes,I am it's very up setting that I can't get to my computer right now and this phone is my only way I can get to my yahoo mail what is going on help please

One solution is to set up your yahoo account in Outlook.com, it works great!

Well, I have followed following steps as suggested by someone from the other blog and it worked for me

1. Update my Yahoo! mail password to NOT have any special characters, in other words simple alpha-numeric password
2. Updated my Yahoo Mail settings on my Windows Phone (HTC Radar) and restart my phone
3. It's been working fine since than no issues

I have not been able to use my yahoo account on my phone in weeks, i have reset the password and powercycled the phone multiple times to no avail... what now? I am so sick of microsoft right now... 8.1 buggy on my laptop, the uncouth cancelling of games for windows live with no support for several games that require an account to even log in... someone teach me linux im done...

I've not been able to sync for several days now. I've checked the POP settings, reset my password, reset the settings on my phone, restarted. Doesn't work. I keep getting the "we're having problems connecting" message. What does work is that I have to delete the account, then add an account. Then I get all the messages since the last sync. Anyone have another fix?

I'm having the EXACT same issue. It's been ongoing since Wed (5 days now). I've tried a full factory reset and then tried reloading my account and it does the same thing.... stuck in never ending syncing! I don't understand why it's doing this. Do I need some sort of update? How do I make it sync and then stop? I don't have the account loaded right now, because I've done ANOTHER factory reset about 24 hours ago. What should I try now? I've already reported it to Verizon and since they couldn't fix it, they are sending me a replacement phone. Is this necessary? Help

guys and gilrs
no need to reset the phone. Its a problem related to yahoo only.

ive got the same issues with a motorola g (android) and an Ipad (iOS).

Had the same issue throughout last week. I logged into my yahoo account on a pc to find a mail from yahoo with title "Sign in attempt prevented. I opened the mail and followed a link to accounts security page where I enabled "Allow apps that use less secure sign in" and bingo, issue was resolved. Try it.
