Anyone else having problems with Edge browser after recent updates?

Edge browser was simply amazing when I first installed W10, now it feels like Windows Central is just too heavy for it, I found myself switching to chrome for my WC needs, this has never happened to me before with Edge or even IE11!

Anyone else has the same performance issues?

I liked Edge when I first used it, but now it seems like I can't do anything on a page until Edge decides that it's 'ready'. I think that means all the other images and media on the page are finished loading. In Firefox, I can scroll down and read a page immediately. I never used Internet Explorer because it always had to load 5-10 seconds worth of stuff before it would let me enter something in the address bar. Microsoft - streamline this stuff. Please.
