I have HTC 8x and its carrier is Telstra. However I am not using it on Telstra network. It was unlocked when I bought it so I put T-Mobile sim card in it and started using. I haven't got gdr3 update which was released in February 22. i need someone who is using 8x on Telstra's network so the person can contact Telstra and ask them why the person is not getting updates. Because when I contacted them they refused to help me since I am not using their network. They just pushed the responsibility to someone else. Here is a screenshot about my phone: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?res...uthkey=!AMQTJfx82NVYSvI&v=3&ithint=photo,.png
Please help me...

Hi....I'm a Telstra customer here in Aus (guess you are elsewhere!) and when I check out their software update posting on the Crowd Support site, the 8X isn't even listed.
Telstra are notorious for dropping support for handsets over 12 months old. Fact of life for those of us over here. It's their way of forcing people to upgrade and extend contracts I guess *shrug*

You will most likely never see an update via Telstra period. You might want to look into doing it yourself.

Handset Software Updates - 6/03/2014 - Telstra Crowdsupport - 258997

It says GDR3 deployed right here

Didn't see that....at the end of the day Telstra don't have to support a handset with someone who is overseas and using the device on a different network I guess. If handset is purchased through a third party (ie not Telstra) its not their (Telstra's) job to provide after sales support.

Would be like me purchasing an imported handset here in Aus with say AT&T branding on it and still expecting them to provide me with customer support.

Biggest issue might be that as the handset is Telstra branded, its expecting a Telstra sim on a Telstra network to do the update....

I already suggested the OP update himself - plenty of threads at XDA I'm sure on how to do that anyway.
