apollo upgrade

Right. Most likely none of the existing WP phones will update to Apollo. WP8 will run on an entirely different kernel. There are other reasons as well for doubting upgradeability.

It seems more and more likely that they will all update, at least IMO. I don't see them being like android and ditching phones that recent. If the Focus Flash doesn't get Apollo then none of the current ones will and that just doesn't make sense honestly.
