App Connection Setting Version 1.1

Im a bit confused on my phone there is an App called;Connection Setting Version 1.1

when i open it, the heading is

"MMS Settings"

DATA SETTINGS
APN
USER NAME
PASSWORD

AUTH TYPE x PAP O CHAP

MMS SETTINGS

NAME
APN

and then it give you a choice to APPLY or RESTORE SYSTEMS DEFAULT

but all the data seetting are blank, does any one know what is this for?

In case your SIM card doesn't provide the proper MMS information, you can manually enter it.
