App Dev on Virtual Environment

Hi,

I'm trying to develop an app inside a virtual machine using Hyper-V. But somehow I can't launch the WP emulator. It says something about hyper v component but all of things needed for hyper v to run the emulator was turned on.

I'm doing this so it would be possible for me to just bring the copy of virtual machine anywhere else to do some coding. Just like on-the-go coding but without laptop or any.

I found a tutorial by searching but it uses VMWare and not the one I want to use.

I want to ask if it's possible in a way that I'll only use Hyper V or Virtual Machine from microsoft (so it won't be hassle in terms of installation if I have to use others PC) and not other VM software out there.

The Hyper V component error is because u have not initialized the settings in your laptop properly. U need to make changes both in the Boot Mode and More importantly turning it on in the File Software from Control Panel. Its like your switch is on but you have not plugged in. :wink:
