App for Location based WiFi on/off

I have searched market and google and have come up with nothing so this is my last resort. Is there an app that will turn my WiFi on and off based on my location?

Unfortunately this isn't possible to do with the current API available to developers.

Third party apps can't run/listen in the background, so not available. But honestly, WiFi uses negligible battery when the screen is off. So my WiFi has been on 24/7 since January. Compared to 3G only prior to that, I may be seeing a 5-9% difference through a full day.

Good point. That's probably similar to the battery drain you'd have anyway if you were constantly running a task that monitors your location.
