App update issued

My nokia Lumia 525 is not notifying me of app updates....i have read the news that messenger got an update....my store didnt notified me...i have to do it manually....

As far as I know the store tile only gets updated every 6 or so hours. Or even less, I don't know the exact frequency, but it's definitely not happening in realtime.
