I bought my new BL2 from ATT. It came with oodles of trial applictions to try and buy. Well now that the trial time has expired I want to get rid of it. How can I remove those apps from my phone and menu?

Well, yes, this is true for programs that you installed. But how to get rid of the damm Trial software that comes with the upgrade to WM6.1? Such as Midnight Pool, Ms. Pac-Man demo by Namco, The Sims Bowling, People Mobile Demo, etc. These apps. do not show up in the remove programs option.

thanks.

I think the AT&T crap is stuck in the ROM. You may need a cooked ROM from somewhere. I've been looking for one myself.

Blaim AT&T! On the European models there is no shareware installed (comes on a CDROM instead).

You could delete the \Program files\appname folder, and remove the shortcut from \Windows\Start menu folder.

...or possibly MemMaid could remove it!?

Has anyone found a cooked ROM, or an effective way to remove these? I'm not sure, but with my BlackBerry Curve, all of the bloat-ware is pushed back to the device via service books.
