Apps greyed out

Hi,
I use a Samsung ATIV S and since a couple of weeks ago I've got some problems with my apps. Some apps are getting greyed out for no reason and I can't start them anymore. When I look in the applist it says "new" there, even though this apps aren't updated or anything. I've got all the apps installed on the internal drive, not on the microSD card.

When I reinstall the greyed out app, it works normally. But somtimes it takes like 30 minutes with the step "recovering data".

What can cause this?

Can the internal storage be faulty? Is there a way to check it?

I had this problem too recently. I guess your problem is due to Windows Phone backup getting stuck. Read this:

(This article talks about fixing Whatsapp greyed out in Windows Phone. But the same method applies to other apps. Try it, you don't need to re-install the apps)
