apps noy updating#

I am using a HTC 8X on O2 UK and am not getting any update notifications for apps which need updating.

In the end I decided to reset the phone but I still don?t seem to be getting any updates. Is there any fix/ what can I do thanks?

Im also not getting notifications but i have a Nokia Lumia 820. Anyone care to shed some light?
