Are high/mid range phones with 4" display dead?

I applaud your ability to adapt. When I got my 520 the sales dude showed me the 830. I asked if wheels and a trailer hitch came with it.

But I do know someone with an iPhone 6+. He says he seldom uses his laptop now because the large screen pretty much handles everything he needs these days. (as far as consumption goes). No point in even getting a tablet he claims.

Not bashing anyone, but most people hate big screens without even trying them out. That's human nature I guess, I used not to love and understand a few things (games, songs, etc.) before I even tried them out. And once I tried them out, the whole world changed.
Big screens can be quite fun. First, you see a whole lot more. I have the feeling like I'm surounded by those futuristic hologram panels.

Also, it feels more powerful. When you see that big screen, you can't think of something that is bad, or low quality.
As I said, one hand usage isn't important for me (even though I manage to do most things with one hand, which is kinda crazy). I'm rarely so busy that I can't use my phone with both hands. And using both hands also adds to the feeling that I'm using a powerful and epic device (like the hologram displays from above).
But it's all preference, I guess. Some need it and like it, some don't. After all, everyone chooses a device they want, so no need to hate on other phones.

For me it's not the screen size per se, it's the phone size. I like big screens but I can't imagine lugging around anything bigger the my 830. It's already too large for me and its my one and only regret about the phone so far. My 822 was much easier to carry around day to day.

Hey guys. I have Lumia 1020, but to be honest this bulky body size, in addition of screen size of 4.5. it's really uncomfortable to use it with only one hand. Moreover, it's a nightmare to carry with you in your pockets of your jeans.

5.2"-5.3" is the sweet spot for me. Very glad to read the next tier of flagships for WP will have a 5.2" version (up from 5").
