Hello everyone,

My name is Jacques. I recently purchased a new Dell XPS8950 with the works. On top of that, I purchased a new ASUS 10Gbps NIC. That apparently has issues with stability. I am not sure if it is with the NIC or with the system itself.

I first plugged the new NIC into the PCIe slot above the graphics card, that shares properties with an SSD. That didn't work.

Then I tried plugging it into the slot below the card. I installed new drivers, etc. The ASUS Network adapter has intermittent recognition. Sometimes it's there, most other times, it's no where to be found.
I discovered a some-timey solution to keep installing drivers with every reboot, but like I said, it's intermittent where it will connect and other times, it's no where to be found.

What gives?

If anyone out there has any viable solution to this problem, please advise.
