AT&T reps... 100$ off phone

I was all ready to hit the store to talk with a rep and pick one up in store...

But the free phone online only kinda had me wondering if AT&T didnt tick the in store reps a little.

I will hit the store for accessories(cover and spare charger) though so hey...

I just tried the online order to save the $100. Below is my brief exchange with the AT&T Rep:

KK.: Welcome to AT&T online Sales support. How may I assist you with placing your order today?
Rick: Hey there, I'm interested in the Lumia 900. Is the $100 savings available to me?
KK.: I am happy to assist you.
KK.: Are you an existing customer of AT&T wireless?
Rick: Yes
KK.: Are you adding a new line or upgrading?
Rick: Upgrading
KK.: I am sorry. The $100 off only applies when ordering the device as a new line.
