can you receive mms from other people? Or is it just specific to one person?

My mom's Lumia 640 couldn't receive MMS texts from my sister's iPhone and my GS7 until I manually configured the APN settings. Then a few minutes later, it was just an explosion of notifications. Maybe that's something you have to set up too.

I did not have internet, changed the APN, than OK. "Which" APN did you change?

UPDATE: After searching I found settings for Consumer Cellular. After making the changes to SIM, MMS, all seems good.
