What can I do to prevent the phone to connect to the open wifi hotspots . I tried to forget the open hotspots but that's not working either ..

Go to WiFi then WiFi sense and deselect connect to WiFi hotspots. That's if you're on 8.1.

I already turned off wifi sense and turn on wifi manually ..
