I recently purchased a Lumia 1520, first Windows Phone and I'm a fan. I have run into one issue though that I can't seem to find an answer for. I will try and describe my situation as best as possible.
I am using the "Stock" Lumia Pro Camera on my Lumia 1520. I have under "Settings" --> "Backup" --> "Photos", the photo quality is set to "Best Quality (needs Wi-Fi)".
If I set my Lumia Camera app Capture Mode to "JPEG (5 MP + 16 MP)" and take a picture I will get the 16MP JPEG uploaded to my Skydrive automatically, the suffix of the file is always "Pro_highres". This is great, seems to work as designed. The issue is I would like to shoot in RAW. So, if I change my camera capture mode to "JPEG (5 MP) + DNG (16 MP)" and take a picture only the low res (5MP) jpeg is uploaded to my Skydrive and not the RAW (DNG) image. I get a low res JPEG file with a suffix of "_Raw".
Is this a limitation of the backup to Skydrive feature in Windows Phone? Can it only upload JPEG files? Or am I missing a setting somewhere? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
