Autostarting an app, is it possible?

I have a specific app (A media player\clock hybrid) that I would like to run automatically when my Windows 10 phone (latest stable build) starts up.

Is this even possible?

The gadgets app seems to be able to launch apps when things are connected to it like BT, wired accessory

maybe even look at NFC tags? Keep the NFC sticker in your case?
