Hi everyone,

Upgraded from an HTC Trophy and I'm running into some problems with the Lumia 928. The first phone I had had the sound go out on it. I returned it and got another one. I've had this one for about a month. When I'm using the phone, it will vibrate contantly and the screen to select your open apps will appear and then it will switch between apps as well. I've tried doing soft resets, hard resets, and even using nokia recovery program, but it still does it. I purchased a warranty for it so I can get a replacement for it, but I'd like to see if anyone else has found a solution before I return it since I'll have to pay for another warranty for the replacement.

Thanks.

I get this occasionally, as well as what seems to be "presses" of the search and start buttons. I believe it's heat related--the 928 is known for developing troublesome touchscreen performance under load. I haven't logged it, but I believe all my trouble has been coming while using Internet Explorer under the 8.1 dev edition. Never had this problem prior to 8.1, so I don't think it's a purely hardware problem. Judging by how much battery juice IE sucks, I can conclude that it's working the device pretty heavily and that's probably the source of my phone's twitchiness.

Thanks for the link. I tried the steps in the 4th post. Ran the Nokia Recovery Software one more time. It seems to have stabilized a bit now. It's only acted up about once so far. I'll give it some time, and if it starts getting bad again I'll send it to nokia.
