Back up problem

I noticed that my Windows Phone hasn't been backed up for 3 months now (apart from photos) and when I went to do it today, it got to 99% but stopped and said 'There was a problem backing up your settings. Try again later.' has anoyone else had this problem or know how to fix it? Thanks

Try deleting the older backups before backing up again.
