Background apps in settings - WhatsApp missing

I was trying to disable some apps that can run in the background or not in the settings, but I couldn't see WhatsApp in it. It was there earlier but after the latest build, it's gone.

Also some of the apps are displayed twice in that list. Is it an OS bug?

it is a known bug where some apps have double entries. Open whatsapp and then check the list of apps that can run in background. Maybe it will pop up in the list after opening the app

The double entries of the apps in the list is a bug. But wait, so Whatsapp isn't listed there anymore? I haven't been to that settings since the last two builds, no wonder I keep getting WhatsApp messages when the app isn't running. Been wondering about this.
