Backup AT&T

I just realized that there is not a backup option in the settings on my 1520, as there was on my other WP on Verizon. Will my profile and contacts all backup automatically to my Microsoft Account? I just want to make sure that it is easy to restore the phone if needed.

On my Lumia 1520, I go to SETTINGS >>BACKUP>>apps + settings>> Backup NOW

This is for the AT&T variant on Lumia Cyan w Dev Preview 8.1.1.
Is yours different ?
