I just got an Android phone a couple of days ago and am trying to set up my Band for use with it!

I had to factory reset the band to get it to connect to the app, no problem, but having come from Windows Phone there are some things I am missing...

1) Cortana.
Is it possible to get the Cortana button to connect to Google Now (or anything else really!) - seems a bit silly having a dead button

2) Notifications.
On windows phone I had it set up to send all notifications which was never really an issue. On my android, since things like app downloads still appear as notifications I get updates every few percent of a download!
However, I can't turn this off as I absolutely want updates for WhatsApp and ideally for tapatalk too...
Is there any way around these issues?

3) Clear My Band
On windows phone I used to use Clear My Band when the number of notifications got overwhelming... is there a similar app for Android?

Thanks in advance for the answers!!

Hi vaderag,

1) No Cortana integration (not yet anyway, I keep hoping). No Cortana tile option either -- I imagine you only have that tile because it is still there from your prior configuration.
2) Yes, if you go into the tile settings on the phone app, many of the tiles have an option to edit the settings. The notifications tile will let you choose which apps' notifications to allow. You might want to do as I did, and start by disabling them all and then selectively enable the types of notifications you really want to see on the band.
3) Not sure; I've never had this need personally, but it helps that I've limited the types of notifications I receive.
