Hi,

I currently go for a run with my phone in an armband, using runtastic to track progress. It's a bit bulky though and I'm thinking of getting a Band 2.

Is it possible to go for a run with the band and have it tracking without needing to carry the phone as well? And then when home sync with phone

Thanks!

Great! Does it have any limitations? i.e. length of time it can store data for? For example, running is fine because i'm out for an hour or so, but would it handle me going out for 8 hours on a bike and then coming home to sync?

The only limitation is battery life, depends if you turn on GPS during your workout..

OK, thanks. I'll be using GPS, so as long as it can last a few hours it'll be great!

For 8 Hours of active Bike Tile + GPS, I'd try a full, fresh charge and see what drain you get over the course of 3 or 4 trials.

I'd be interested to see the results for a baseline.

Took me a while to reply here, but I've been testing battery life!

I get around 48 hours out of the watch on standard use. With GPS tracking I get ~2 hours standard use (before turning on GPS) & 4 hours with GPS tracking on. when the battery goes flat all data is saved so no tracking is lost.
