Does the band 2 have a speaker or beep for when the alarm sounds, or for timers?

Nope, it has a vibration motor for notifications.

Thanks, just wasn't sure if I had a faulty one. So far the vibration has failed to wake me in the mornings, good job I still use my normal alarm clock as well.
