Band 2 Won't Charge

Suddenly last week my Band 2 stopped taking a charge. Every time I'd take it off the cable it would be dark. If I pushed the button I'd get a message that the battery had run down and to reset the time and date. At first I thought it might be a broken charge cable, but then tried another and it still didn't take a charge. When I attach the cable and plug into my PC the PC recognizes it and beeps, sometimes after (aggressive) button pushing it will turn on but then the charge remains at 0% no matter how long it remains attached to the cable.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is it common? I looked on the MS Band Warranty Help site and one of the listed problems was battery won't charge. I'll be sending it back today and reverting to my old Band 1, but after having the 2 it leaves a lot to be desired.

Yes it's a common problem, or was. Some connection in the strap breaks and you end up with the problem you describe. You need to exchange it.

This happened to two of my Band 2's.

Really really annoying.

Praying the 3rd lasts until Band 3!

4th Band 2 right now - all 3 before had charging problems after a while... the 3rd one was broken after 2 weeks...

Well, must say, I got a new one back very quickly from MS and am a happy runner and hiker again.
