Battery bug

I have been on windows 10, for almost a year now, battery problems have been resolves pretty good, but it is not upto the mark. As with the latest update it is better. But the phone takes a nose dive as soon as you connect to internet. About 1% battery per min.

1. Moved to Windows 10 Mobile section instead of the 10 PC version.

2. your experience is nice I guess, but its almost without any detail. all one can tell is that one person somewhere has poor battery life on 10 Mobile on some phone.

So, what do you suggest? I should dump my Lumia 1020?

Have you factory reset the phone first? I know it was a often flung-around fix back in 8.1 and up to today.

The Lumia 1020 has an undersized battery for the hardware, regardless of the OS running on it. There is no, and will be no fix. If they dumped the bump and made it flush with a battery, perhaps the platform is in a different place. But is what it is. You will NOT GET a full day EVER with that phone. Just replaced my 1020 with a 950XL, haven't looked back. Not saying you should, but don't chase your tail hoping for a miracle.

I've had 1020 on WP8.1 and it lasted all day for me.. never had major issues..
Could be WP10 or just battery getting old?
Did you have issues like that before WP10? Try downgrading.. replacing the battery, or like Allen said, get 950XL and enjoy..

Ya weird , but if ur battery is over 2years seriously replace, put battery saver settings to "ON" at 100% itself. Try it reduces standby and background apps battery usage a lot!!! .uninstall apps like in the "extras"section in settings which is mostly no use once u saved the settings!!!
