Battery drain and temperature issues, has anyone experienced this since upgrading?

Ok so I'm unhappy to report that changing the feedback setting did pretty much nothing for my battery life or overheating. I'm out of ideas and have tried everything. Please does anyone have any more ideas or anything that can guaranteed fix my issues? And yes I have technically replaced my phone. I broke my original 950 and had to use the insurance and my second device is the one with these issues. And what's weird is my 950 used to go 30 hours with minimal use and now I can barely eek out 14. I go to school with between 95 and 100% and 6.5 hours later with barely any use except for checking notifications I have around 60% and get home 3 hours after that with about 40% to 50$. Please anyone I am desperate for another fix as I am locked in a contract until December.
