Battery is draining very fast for the past few days.Last week once I had gone to sleep after charging phone to 100 % and woke up to find phone switched off.On switching it on I found 5% charge remaining and a critical battery level notification.Wifi & data were off ,only location was on like other days. This is the first time this is happening. Now again for past two days battery is draining more than usual.I checked Battery Usage By Apps and last week and now too I find Windows Default Lock Screen the one & only culprit - consuming >80% battery, that also 0% background usage.I had set it to 'Managed by Windows' in Battery Saver.I am a light to moderate user & battery lasts the full day for me normally.Phone is Lumia 535DS.What should I do ? Any suggestions ?
Thanks in advance.

I'll try first checkin battery itsef with a multimeter. Something is going wrong.
Default lock screen consuming NOT in background means you got some live tiles which is draining faster . How many live tiles you got simultaneously on screen?

I have the same as I always use - TimeMe(wide) ,Weather(medium)updates only when I connect to wifi/data,Outlook calendar(wide but now needs resizing to update),people, photos (favourites),maps, news, all medium. OneCalendar wide updates at midnight and when a task is over.Live tile calendar wide also updates at midnight.Cortana tile is active only when I turn on data or wifi.Phone, message, whatsapp,Outlook mail ,store all small tiles.Alarms medium tile. But I have always used these from the very beginning.

AIDA64 says battery wear is 0%

Start with a soft reset. And ask someone for a multimeter, better a physical check instead softwares

Sorry forgot to mention that I did soft resets. I will try getting a multimeter check done.
Should I do a hard reset ?

I read somewhere in the forum that people are experiencing StartScreen & lockscreen battery drainage after AU.

Consider it as a option, when you got spare time . Remember a phone after a hard reset need a couple of days for completing all ops, syncs and updates and getting best performances. Especially older phones. Keep charger and wifi ready

Thanks. Will try out a hard reset if battery drainage continues and report back.

I did the hard reset .Battery drain has decreased.Past 6 hours usage by Windows Default Lock Screen is 12% and in past 24 hours it is 9%.Start is using 15% in past 6 hours and 23% in past 24 hours.
