Battery life has plummeted since last OS update

Since the last update battery life has more than halved. Swapped out the battery to a known good one still exactly the same result.

Happened the same day as last OS update and no other changes to the phone, so points squarely at the update or an app related to the update.

Had similar results. Without knowing what Microsoft changed I went into Privacy settings and tweaked a ton of stuff.

Disabled a bunch of background apps and turned off almost all that I knew I needed to and could get by with without causing other issues. Turned off location, turned off motion data. Turned off all but several apps from using the camera. Turned off all apps except 3 from using the mic. Turned off Continue App Experiences (since it does not really work for me anyway), and turned off Syn with devices.

Some where in that mess of stuff I got my battery life back. Was draining from 100% to 30-40% within 8 hrs. Now I went back to 100% draining to 50-40% in 11 or 12 hrs and some times longer.
