Battery life in tablet mode

I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but I'm getting significantly better battery life using my i5 SP3 in tablet mode. Basic web browsing on Opera or Firefox gets me about a 10%/hour drain. That was about my normal drain on W8.1 (albeit using the keyboard). I guess the keyboard draws more power than I thought.

I recently picked up the Typecover 4 and that seems to drain my battery a little more quickly than the Typecover 3.

Anyone else see similar results?

I can believe this. It's a solid connection, getting power to the keyboard, backlighting, etc. I'll let you know when I pick mine up! rly:

I have the type cover 4, although, I really didn't have anything previously to compare it to. but overall battery sucks major donkey as of now.
