battery nokia lumia 520

Okay so yesterday i rung nokia and they told me to use the charger i have been given along with the phone. what is wrong is that i have been charging this for about 7 hours but the phone is still indicating that its flat coming up with the battery and a plug.. any advice?

Try a soft reset and see if that fixes things.

Hold volume down and power button until the phone vibrates then let go. Phone will restart. You may have to reset date and time. No files are erased.

ive tried to do a hard and a soft reset but when i hold the buttons down it doesnt vibrate

Just keep holding both until the phone shuts down. Then let go and it will restart itself.

My phone is drained, it wont turn on. its been charging for days now but all it does is vibrate randomly then nokia and a battery icon shows up.. it then turns off.

I would try another charger. Yours might be damaged. I had the same problem and then I realized the charger was damaged, so I tried a Galaxy Ace charger and it went back to normal.

Ive tried 2 samsung chargers and a nokia charger but its still like this, i might just call nokia when they open

Were you able to perform the soft reset? If so, did you try a hard reset as well?

the hard and soft resets dont work for it, it doesnt vibrate
