Battery question re: Surface Book

I was surprised by a battery issue. I "shut down" before unplugging my Surface Book. I left my device in a computer bag overnight and the next day flew for 14 hours. When In got to my hotel and plugged my computer in my battery showed 0%. How does it drain when it is OFF?

Unless there're HW issue with your device, the power button must be accidently pressed while it's in your bag

It's a well documented issue. For now just hybernate instead of putting to sleep until the fix this bug. You can change your power management to do this when ever you close your device.

Hibernate/sleep battery drain have nothing to do with battery drain while powered completely down, which is also a well documented issue that others on this forum have been having. See the following thread: http://forums.windowscentral.com/mi...urface-book-battery-drain-while-shutdown.html
